Items purchased at a store location or purchased online an delivered locally are packaged with lid. Items purchased online and shipped are packaged using a plastic film and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), which naturally extends the freshness of food without the use of preservatives or chemicals.
About 90% of our meals are naturally gluten free and/or dairy free. In store, look for "GF" and "DF" on the front label of the meal. On the menu, look for "GF" or "DF" next to the meal name. We are extremely cautious when packaging the food, however if you have an extreme allergy please note that our facility is exposed to all seven major allergens.
While we recommend consuming the meals fresh for the best flavor, you can absolutely freeze the meals. Just keep in mind that some things will freeze better than others, for example cruciferous green veggies may not hold up as well. To defrost, let the food thaw naturally overnight in the fridge rather than using the defrost setting on your microwave.
The food is nutritionally balanced and made with quality ingredients. All of our meals are designed by a team of chefs and registered dietitians to contain a healthy balance of macro-nutrients without sacrificing flavor. We're proud to use lean, hormone, antibiotic free proteins, slow digesting carbohydrates, and heart healthy fats. We source our ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible.
You do not have to order ahead. You can shop at one of our [3 St. Louis locations] any day of the week just like you'd grocery shop. All stores have the full menu available (except Bulk items). Availabity is subject to inventory.
We offer delivery to parts of Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Indiana. Check your delivery eligibility in the form at the top of the page, or send us a message and we're happy to confirm for you.
Please allow us 72 hours to place your order in the kitchen, prep, cook, portion, and package your healthy meals before they are ready for pick up or delivered to your door. You will be prompted to choose a pickup/delivery date during checkout. You will be notified when your order is ready.
Per health code, we cannot take any meals back once they leave our facilities. If you had a less than amazing experience with any of your meals please reach out to our Customer Service department (314-744-9048) and we will do whatever is necessary to resolve the issue.
Yes! We offer one-on-one nutrition counseling with our Licensed and Registered Dietitian. She can work with you to create a custom meal plan designed for your specific goals and lifestyle. Learn more here.
When you order online, we cook your meals after you place your order. Processing your order, preparing ingredients, cooking, cooling, portioning, packaging, and distributing the food takes us 72 hours and ensures you get the longest shelf life possible on your meals. If you'd like food today, we'd love for you to shop at one of our 3 St. Louis locations where we have the full menu (excluding Bulk items) available. You don't need to order head to shop in store.
Shop online as normal. When you're ready to checkout you will have to option to subscribe to your cart weekly, bi-weekly, every 3 weeks or every 4 weeks. Subscriptions are completely customizable, meaning you aren't limited to a certain number of items. You can pause, skip, edit, or cancel your subscription at any time. You can subscribe for delivery or pickup.
Yes! The box, insulation, and ice packs are recyclable. If you live in the local St. Louis area and you'd like us to recycle them for you, please leave them out on your porch for pick up during your next scheduled delivery.
Contact the store you selected for pick up and let an associate know. Your meals will be held for 48 hours. If you have not picked up your order after 48 hours your order will be restocked in store and will not be refunded.
You may make changes to your order up until 72 hours prior to your scheduled delivery/pickup date. After this time we have begun cooking, packaging, and the distribution process and will not be able to honor order changes. Through years of personal training and nutrition counseling experience, we have found that lasting change comes from a plan that is specific to your lifestyle, your personal health history, and your goals. If you're interested in a meal plan, our Licensed and Registered Dietitian can help create a customized plan based on your goals and lifestyle.
